Controller and scope
Stellar is a Bigwise product. Bigwise Corp (“Bigwise”), domiciled in Miami, Florida, United States, is responsible for processing personal data collected through this Stellar website. You can contact us at business@bigwise.com.
This policy adapts the Bigwise corporate privacy policy (in Spanish) to this website’s forms and features. It does not describe data processing within the Stellar software, which is governed by the applicable service agreements.
Data and purposes
We collect the details you provide when requesting a demo, downloading a brochure or submitting a partner application: contact details, company, country, products of interest and the business-related answers you provide. We use them to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals and evaluate partnership applications. The hosting provider may log your IP address, browser and connection date and time to serve and protect the website.
We do not sell your data or use it for automated decisions that affect you. Completing a form does not subscribe you to marketing updates; those would require separate authorization.
Basis for processing
We process the data needed to handle the request you choose to submit and steps before a potential business relationship, in accordance with applicable law. Where processing requires consent, it must be requested specifically; browsing this website does not authorize marketing communications. You can ask us to stop contacting you or withdraw consent by emailing business@bigwise.com.
Demo request form
When you click Send request, your contact and business details are sent from the server through Resend to the Bigwise sales team at business@bigwise.com to respond to your inquiry. They are not added to a database maintained by this site or to persistent browser storage.
Stellar partner questionnaire
While you complete the questionnaire, your answers stay on the page and you can download them to your device. Only when you click Submit application are they shared with Bigwise through Resend to evaluate your participation in the program. Reloading or closing the page discards answers you have not submitted or downloaded.
Brochure downloads
The download form requests full name, email, company and country. When you click Download brochure, these details and the requested brochure are emailed to Bigwise through Resend to respond to your interest. The download starts when Resend accepts the email for sending; acceptance does not confirm inbox delivery. After acceptance, the encrypted session cookie stellar_brochure_contact is created with your name, email, company and country to fill in other brochure requests. The server stops accepting this data 2 hours after the latest accepted download; another accepted download renews that period. Physical deletion of the cookie depends on the browser’s session management, which may restore it when reopened, even though the server no longer accepts its expired contents. It does not verify your identity or recognize you on other devices. You can edit the fields or use “Forget my details” in the form to delete that cookie; this does not delete emails already sent to Bigwise.
Language preference
When you enter the homepage, we use your browser’s preferred language, not your IP address. The selector lets you choose Spanish or English; we save that choice in the functional cookie stellar_language for 180 days from your latest manual selection in this browser. You can change it with the selector or remove it by clearing the site’s cookies. Links to specific pages keep their language.
Measurement and external services
Resend processes the content of submissions to send email. Messages may remain in the provider’s records and in Bigwise’s email according to their retention policies. To ask about or request deletion of submitted information, contact business@bigwise.com. This Stellar website currently does not include Google Analytics or its own advertising pixels. Google Analytics is planned for when the domain is configured, but connecting the domain will not activate it automatically. Before it is enabled, this policy will be updated with the actual configuration and retention periods, and controls will be provided to accept, reject and withdraw analytics consent. Analytics will remain disabled unless that consent has been granted. The hosting provider may process technical data needed to serve and protect the site. External resources and links are governed by their providers’ terms.
Recipients and international transfers
We use hosting, email delivery and business contact management providers to operate the website and handle requests. Resend delivers form submissions. We may also share data with companies in the Bigwise ecosystem to address your request or with authorities when required by law.
Some providers may process data outside your country, for example in the United States or the European Union. Bigwise’s corporate policy requires appropriate protection safeguards for these transfers under applicable law.
Retention
We do not set a single retention period for all inquiries. Retention is determined by the purpose of the request, the need to respond and follow up on the business relationship, and applicable legal obligations. Data should not be kept longer than necessary for those purposes. You can ask about the criteria applicable to your data or request erasure by emailing business@bigwise.com; requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any relevant retention obligations.
This website does not automatically delete emails or provider records. Deleting a cookie does not delete messages already sent to Bigwise. Technical cookie lifetimes are described separately in this policy.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, updating, erasure or portability of your data, object to processing or withdraw authorization, subject to applicable law. Email business@bigwise.com with your request. We will respond within the applicable legal deadlines. You can also contact your country’s data protection authority.
Security and minors
Bigwise applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, such as encrypted connections and access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. This website is intended for businesses and professionals; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy by publishing a new version with its update date. Please also see the website terms of use.
